Road transport in Brazil, aligned with your cargo
Road transport in Brazil: we coordinate contracted legs with partner carriers, including connections between cargo locations, warehouses, terminals and ports.
Who is road transport for?
- Who it is for. Companies needing coordinated cargo collection and delivery.
- What you receive. A road leg aligned with the cargo and receiving windows.
- Service period. From collection scheduling to completion of the contracted leg.
Why is an available truck not enough?
An available truck does not resolve the operation on its own. The location must be able to handle the vehicle, the cargo must be ready and the terminal may require an appointment. Planning these together helps identify conflicts before collection disrupts shipment or delivery. Feasibility depends on route and equipment.
This service fits when:
- Your export needs to reach the terminal within the stated receiving window and cutoff.
- Released import cargo needs to reach the consignee with a defined unloading time and conditions.
- You need to align addresses, equipment, readiness and responsibilities across several parties involved in a collection.

How does road transport work with Sync Port?
- 1
Check cargo and addresses
We gather the collection and delivery locations, weight, dimensions, cargo type and access restrictions. We also identify who loads and unloads, which resources are available on site and whether an appointment is required.
- 2
Define the leg and proposal
With the carrier, we assess the route, vehicle and requested window. The proposal sets out the service, operating conditions and charges that may depend on waiting, an address change or additional handling requirements.
- 3
Schedule collection
Once acceptance and conditions are confirmed, we align the schedule with you, the carrier and the receiving location. Cargo details, required documents and authorizations must be available according to the operation's applicable requirements.
- 4
Follow through to delivery
We follow the agreed collection and delivery milestones, recording reported open items and changes. Closure considers completion of the leg and the service evidence specified in the contract.
What does the scope cover?
We coordinate the approved leg with partner carriers. The proposal should clarify whether it includes collection, delivery, container movement and additional stages. Loading, unloading, lifting, storage and insurance arrangements each need a defined scope when required.
Who does what?
- Sync Port. Aligns schedules, the carrier and contacts for the contracted leg.
- Customer and sites. Confirm cargo readiness, access, documents, time windows and who supplies loading and unloading resources.
- Carrier. Confirms vehicle and route feasibility and performs the contracted transport.
What do you need to request a road transport quote?
Send what you have. If anything is still undecided, tell us what is missing.
Sites and windows. Full addresses, cargo readiness, requested time windows and access restrictions at pickup and delivery.
Cargo and dimensions. The goods, package count, packaging, gross weight in kg and dimensions in cm (length × width × height).
Vehicle and resources. The intended vehicle or container, if known, and who supplies loading and unloading staff and equipment.
Contacts and references. Site contacts and, for port legs, any available terminal, booking and cargo-receiving deadline.
What happens after you hire?
- Schedule. You, the sites and the carrier confirm the vehicle, resources and appointments before pickup.
- Documents and release. The assigned owners provide applicable tax documents, authorizations and releases before service.
- Delivery. The carrier confirms completion; we follow closure and the evidence specified in the scope.
How long does it take and what affects the cost?
Duration includes scheduling, collection, the journey and delivery handling within the agreed scope. Distance, access, appointments, traffic, readiness and releases can affect the plan. We align windows with the parties; estimated driving time does not replace confirmation of the handling appointment.
What affects the cost?
- Route and vehicle. Distance, access, weight, dimensions and required equipment influence the price of the leg.
- Handling conditions. Hours, appointments, loading and unloading resources and site requirements should be described in the quote.
- Waiting and changes. Check how the proposal treats waiting time, attempted service, schedule changes and additional legs.
Example: from factory to port terminal
Situation. A factory has an export container to deliver to a terminal, but the loading time still needs to be aligned with port receiving.
How we help. We relate the terminal cutoff to readiness and the factory's loading window. With the partner carrier, we confirm the schedule and send the responsible parties the details and open items that must be resolved before collection.
What planning provides. A plan that brings collection, the journey and terminal receiving into one sequence, with defined owners. If cargo readiness slips, the schedule needs reassessment before service can be treated as guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
Does Sync Port operate its own truck fleet?
No. We coordinate road transport with partner carriers. Vehicle, route and service-window feasibility are confirmed for each operation before contracting.
Can road transport be combined with ocean freight?
Yes, we can assess a combined road and ocean scope. The proposal must identify both legs, their charges and responsibility for the connections; a standalone ocean quote does not automatically include collection or delivery.
What information is needed for a collection quote?
Send the addresses, contacts, cargo type, weight, dimensions, readiness and desired window. Include access restrictions, loading and unloading resources, and terminal or booking references where applicable.
Who is responsible for loading and unloading?
We align the owners and required resources before scheduling service. Loading, unloading and special equipment must be included in the scope or assigned to the responsible location or provider; they are not assumed from the transport booking.
What happens if the cargo is not ready at collection?
We check with you and the carrier how this affects the window, delivery and any charges under the contracted conditions. A revised schedule needs confirmation by the parties, especially when a terminal appointment or cutoff is involved.
