Itajaí/Navegantes depths to 10 Dec: what FOB buyers should ask before booking

The Port of Itajaí has set minimum berth depths, valid until 10 December 2026. They are 12.2 to 12.9 m at the Itajaí berths. At Portonave they are 12.7 m and 12.9 m at berths 1 and 2, and 12.6 m at berth 3, where the figure covers only the area available for berthing. With the river running high, the port's 48-hour monitoring report says the current must be measured in real time before any manoeuvre. This can affect calls, cut-offs and rollover risk.
